Job summary

Alfa Holiday Group is seeking a Hospitality Assistant at The Metropole Hotel, Torquay. This role involves working around 30 hours per week, including weekends, with an hourly rate of £13.45.

You’ll be the all‑rounder in hotel operations, mainly in Bar and Restaurant, with split shifts and close collaboration with department heads to uphold high standards. Ideal candidates will deliver excellent service, adapt quickly, stay calm under pressure, and work well in a team.

Alfa Holiday Group has an opportunity for a Hospitality Assistant to join the team at The Metropole Hotel, Torquay.

Hospitality Assistant working hours:

As a Hospitality Assistant you will work circa 30 hours per week, including weekends & split shifts with an hourly rate of £13.45, regardless of age!

Being a Hospitality Assistant:

As a Hospitality Assistant your role will be varied, having the opportunity to be an all rounder working in numerous areas within the hotel operation; this will include working predominantly in the Bar and Restaurant, with split shifts likely to be required. You will work closely with the heads of departments to assist with their needs and learn how each function works successfully, whilst ensuring company standards are maintained to a high level.
