Job summary

Point A Hotels is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Harrow. This full-time role focuses on planned and reactive maintenance to keep guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces safe, functional and guest-ready.

You'll perform routine inspections, respond to maintenance requests with a proactive, cost-conscious approach, and work with Front Desk and Housekeeping to minimise disruption while upholding high standards of health and safety.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in a guest-focused setting.
• Prioritises tasks and responds promptly to maintenance requests.
• Knowledge of health and safety best practices and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests from Front Desk, Housekeeping and guests.
• Record tasks using the hotel’s maintenance platform.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks and inspections.
• Ensure guest rooms, public spaces and back-of-house areas are well maintained.
