Job summary

Premier Inn Reading Central is hiring a Kitchen Team Member on a 20-hour week contract. You’ll help prepare, cook and serve meals that guests enjoy, including breakfast and dinner shifts, with evenings and weekends included. You’ll work as part of a team to deliver great service and maintain a clean, well-organised kitchen.

Pay is up to £13.06 per hour. The role offers guaranteed hours, day-one training, staff discounts, and pension/savings schemes.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a kitchen or food service preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team and stay calm during busy periods.
• Reliable, with good timekeeping and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients before service starts.
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service.
• Keep the kitchen clean and organised for the next rush.
• Receive deliveries and store stock appropriately.
• Work closely with the hotel team to ensure smooth service.
• Ensure meals leave the kitchen looking presentable.
