Job summary

Premier Inn Carlisle Central is hiring a Kitchen Team Member to prepare ingredients, cook and plate meals for guests. You’ll support breakfast and dinner service, keep the kitchen clean and stocked, and work with hotel staff to ensure smooth service. This role offers 20 contracted hours per week with pay up to £13.06 per hour.

Whether you’re new to kitchen work or have hospitality experience, reliability, teamwork and a positive attitude are valued. Evening and weekend shifts are included.

Qualifications

• Experience in cooking/kitchen environment is not required; first kitchen job acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients before service starts.
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast and dinner service.
• Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush.
• Receive deliveries and keep stock where it should be.
• Work closely with the hotel team so service runs smoothly.
• Help make sure every meal leaves the kitchen looking right.
