Job summary

Whitbread is recruiting a Kitchen Team Leader at Premier Inn Livingston. The role involves running the kitchen daily, managing rotas, placing food orders, leading the team during busy services, and ensuring audit-ready compliance under the Hotel Manager's guidance.

You will own ordering, stock control, and cost management, lead during service, cook to spec, and maintain health and hygiene standards while supporting team members’ growth.

Responsibilities

• Own food ordering, stock control and keep food costs on track for the hotel.

• Ensure health, safety and hygiene standards are met and records are kept up to date.
• Step up during shifts and help new team members settle in.
• Learn kitchen management skills for progression to senior roles.

We're currently recruiting in our Livingston (M8/J3) Premier Inn. Working 30 hours per week, paying up to £14.31 per hour.

Kitchen Team Leader Livingston (M8/J3) Premier Inn

Join our team at Premier Inn [InsertLivingston (M8/J3) as a Kitchen Team Leader and move your Chef career forward. You’ll run the kitchen day to day – managing rotas, placing food orders, leading the team through busy services, and keeping everything audit-ready. Working closely with your Hotel Manager, you’ll take full ownership of the kitchen – from food quality to hygiene. It’s a hands-on leadership role that’s perfect for anyone ready to build the skills to become a Head Chef.
