Job summary

Omni Facilities Management Limited is seeking a Housekeeping Trainer/Supervisor to lead training for housekeeping teams across a large hotel operation. You will implement training standards, monitor performance, and ensure grooming and health & safety policies are followed daily.

Role involves full on-site training, refresher sessions, and collaboration with Area Managers. The position offers a permanent contract and progression through our Trainer Academy and management programs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or Trainer in a large hotel.
• Excellent knowledge of housekeeping operations.
• Experience delivering training to a diverse range of employees.
• Desirable to have a training qualification.

Responsibilities

• Train each team member so that they are proficient enough to perform the key tasks and duties required.
• Carry out refresher training and monitor and record trainees’ aptitude to ensure that they are delivering the expected standards in the time allocated.
• Check the grooming standards before the start of the shift.
• Liaise with department management or Area Manager regarding any relevant issues concerning staff.
• Ensure all staff are trained on and fully conversant with all relevant areas of Health & Safety and required training paperwork is completed and signed.
• Ensure all staff are trained on and adhere to policies and procedures, e.g., lost property.
• Ensure employees are re-trained when required.
• Assist with ensuring staff have all the necessary equipment needed to perform their duties.
• Ensure all electrical equipment is in good working order and is checked regularly.
• Complete weekly audits with the Area Manager, where appropriate and action issues.
• Complete quality checks using the Omni Facilities Management quality app daily.
