Job summary

Omni Facilities Management Limited in Wembley is seeking a proactive Housekeeping Trainer to ensure all team members are trained to the required standard. You will deliver initial and refresher training across housekeeping, monitor progress, and support managers with training paperwork and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or Trainer in a large hotel.
• Excellent knowledge of housekeeping operations.
• Previous experience in delivering training to a diverse range of employees.
• Desirable to have a training qualification.

Responsibilities

• Train each team member so that they are proficient enough to perform the key tasks and duties required.
• Carry out refresher training and monitor and record trainees’ aptitude to ensure that they are delivering the expected standards in the time allocated.
• Check the grooming standards before the start of the shift.
• Liaise with department management or Area Manager regarding any relevant issues concerning staff.
• Ensure all staff are trained on and fully conversant with all relevant areas of Health & Safety and required training paperwork is completed and signed.
• Ensure all staff are trained on and adhere to policies and procedures, e.g., lost property.
• Ensure employees are re-trained when required.
• Assist with ensuring staff have all the necessary equipment needed to perform their duties.
• Ensure all electrical equipment is in good working order and is checked regularly.
• Complete weekly audits with the Area Manager, where appropriate and action issues.
• Complete quality checks using the Omni Facilities Management quality app daily.
