Job summary

Sutton Hotel Collection is seeking a Senior Finance Assistant for The Francis Hotel in Bath. You will own core daily finance controls, support hotel operations with robust financial insight, and partner with the Hotels Finance team to uphold accuracy and timely reporting.

The role emphasizes financial control, business partnering, and collaborative teamwork, with opportunities to guide Finance Assistants and contribute to cost management and reporting processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounting or hotel finance.
• Strong numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Experience using hotel finance systems and ERP tools is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Own daily finance controls including income audit, reconciliations, and discrepancies.
• Maintain EBITDA tracker and performance reporting for hotel operations.
• Process invoices into NetSuite with accurate coding and records.
• Monitor debt, monitor sales ledger and PM accounts, support Credit Control to reduce debtor days.
• Prepare weekly/monthly payment runs and accrual analyses for cost accounting.
