Job summary

Sir Richard Sutton Limited (SRSL) invites a Senior Finance Assistant to join the Hotels Finance team for The Francis Hotel in Bath. You will own daily finance controls, reconcile income, cash, and revenue, and provide timely financial insights to operations.

You will support EBITDA tracking, monitor sales to drive performance, process invoices in NetSuite, and assist debt management with the Credit Control team. Collaboration with hotel operations is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounting or hotel finance, with ability to own finance processes.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail for accurate financial reporting.
• Clear communication of financial information to operational colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Own key daily finance controls: income audit, cash, revenue reconciliations, and discrepancies.
• Maintain EBITDA tracker and performance reporting for GMs and department heads.
• Monitor F&B sales, payroll productivity, and weekly sales forecasts.
• Process invoices into NetSuite with accurate coding.
• Manage outstanding debt, sales ledger, and support Credit Control to reduce debtor days.
• Process weekly/monthly payment runs and prepare accrual analyses.
• Provide financial analysis and support to GMs and department heads.
• Support and guide Finance Assistants within Hotels Finance team.
