Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group is hiring a Food and Beverage Assistant in Belfast. You will be trained through our Dalata Academy to learn key hospitality skills and will grow through opportunities within a friendly team.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and the Operations Manager, you will provide friendly, efficient service, upsell where possible, and maintain high standards across bar and restaurant operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is essential.
• Flexibility in working hours including mornings/evenings & weekends.
• Experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English with excellent communication skills.
• Micros experience would be preferable.
• Experience in a hotel is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Greet regular guests by name.
• Know and recommend food and wine.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional.
• Upsell and maximise sales where possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Serve guests with food and beverages.
