Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group in Cardiff is seeking a hospitality professional to welcome guests by name, offer wine recommendations, and maintain a high standard of service in a busy bar and restaurant environment.

You will upsell, support a friendly team, and contribute to excellent guest experiences. Prior hospitality experience and Fluent English are essential, with flexible hours including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Fluent English and excellent communication skills are required.
• Previous experience is essential.
• Flexibility in working hours including mornings/evenings/weekends.
• Experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment is advantageous.
• Micros experience would be preferable.

Responsibilities

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine; be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Serve guests with food and beverages.
