Job summary

NoMad London is seeking an enthusiastic Concierge to join our Front of House team, reporting to the Head of Guest Relations. You will deliver personal, attentive service and anticipate guest needs in a sophisticated setting.

The ideal candidate has prior concierge experience in a property, excellent communication, and a proactive, self-driven attitude. Knowledge of London attractions and a clean driving license are advantages.

Qualifications

• Previous Concierge experience in a property.
• Proactive approach with a self-driven attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service ethos.
• Strong people leadership and delegation abilities.
• Knowledge of London attractions, tours, theatres, etc.
• A full, clean driving license; Alice/Opera knowledge advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Concierge with day-to-day tasks.
• Supervise and support other concierge associates, Doorman and Luggage Porters.
• Develop and train the team to deliver great guest experiences.
• Maintain high service standards and ownership of guest requests.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an enthusiastic & passionate Concierge to join our Front of House team reporting directly to the Head of Guest Relations.

The Concierge will play a key role in deliveringa personal and friendly service, whilst anticipating guest needs and creating a homely ambiance in a sophisticated environment to achieve an elegant and comfortable experience.

EXPECTATIONS:

• Assist the Head Concierge with day-to-day tasks
• Supervise and support the other concierge associates, Doorman and Luggage Porters
• Develop and train the team to be able to deliver their job brilliantly so that we ensure great feedback from guests
• Manage exceptional service standards with attention to detail and taking ownership of guest requests and following them through to successful completion
• Keep relationships active and strong with our guests and brand partnerships.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Previous Concierge experience in a property
• A proactive approach with a self-driven attitude
• Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. You will have great communication skills with a strong customer service ethic.
• Great people, leadership, and delegation skills to help build, train, and maintain a team of employees, driving them towards the objectives of the business
• Knowledge of London such restaurants, tours, theatre, exhibitions, activities to do,...etc.
• A full, clean driving license
• A good knowledge of Alice and Opera would be advantageous, although not essential
