Join a leading hotel in York as a Housekeeping Coordinator. You'll ensure cleanliness standards are met, assist in managing the housekeeping team, and provide exceptional service to guests. Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool, etc., after cleaning by Hotel Cleanliness Experts to ensure quality standards. Manage room reports, verify room status, identify discrepancies, prioritize cleaning, and update room statuses. Assist Housekeeping management with daily activities and coordinate efforts with Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry. Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms, communicate changes in room assignments, and inform next shift of relevant issues. Complete necessary paperwork.
Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees. Follow all safety and security policies; report maintenance problems, hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications. Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality, protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate their needs, assist guests with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation. Communicate clearly and professionally, develop positive relationships with colleagues, listen and respond to concerns, and ensure adherence to quality standards. Perform other duties as assigned by managers.
