Job summary

Barnett Hill Hotel, part of Alexander Hotels, near Guildford, is looking for Hotel Assistants to work 37.5 hours over 5 days. You will gain experience in hotel reception and food & beverage service in a 4-star setting.

The role includes welcoming guests, handling check-ins/outs, and serving in the restaurant and banqueting areas. Transport is required due to the semi-rural location, with weekend shifts included.

The Role

This is a varied role working within our hotel reception team and also working across our food and beverage areas including our 2 Rosette Hotel Restaurant. Your weekly rota will be split between these areas, covering a range of shifts including weekend working.

As a Hotel Receptionist you will be welcoming guests, checking in guests, organising guest billing and checking out guests on their departure.

As a Food and Beverage Assistant you will be serving food and beverage within our restaurant, banqueting or lounge areas.

• Ability to work flexible shifts 5 days, 37.5 hrs per week including weekends. Shift patterns include; 6.30am to 1.00pm, 7am – 2.30pm and 3.30pm to 11pm
