Job summary

Barnett Hill Hotel, part of Alexander Hotels, near Guildford, is looking for Hotel Assistants to work 37.5 hours over 5 days. You will gain experience in hotel reception and food & beverage service in a 4-star setting.

The role includes welcoming guests, handling check-ins/outs, and serving in the restaurant and banqueting areas. Transport is required due to the semi-rural location, with weekend shifts included.

Qualifications

• You must have transport due to the hotels semi-rural location.
• You must have smart appearance.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A passion for guest service and experience within a quality food service hotel/restaurant required.
• Ability to work flexible shifts 5 days, 37.5 hrs per week including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests, checking in guests, organising guest billing and checking out guests.
• Serving food and beverage within restaurant, banqueting or lounge areas.
• Work across hotel reception and food & beverage areas including the 2 Rosette Hotel Restaurant.
