Stonepillow in Bognor Regis is seeking a Hostel Support Worker to provide engagement and signposting to homeless adults. You will use individualised support plans, brief interventions and group work to improve housing, health and wellbeing.
The role involves on-site work in a 37.42-hour rota system (7.45am–4.15pm or 11.30am–8.00pm), with a permanent post and a maternity coverage temporary role. Closing date 15 September 2026.

We are recruiting for a two Hostel Support Workers (one role is permanent, one role is temporary maternity cover)
Stonepillow supports and empowers homeless and vulnerable people to achieve sustainable independence and wellbeing and make positive changes in their lives.
Your role will be to support homeless adults who may be experiencing a number of complexities including mental health and substance misuse issues. The aim of the role is to support and signpost clients into services that will improve their housing, health and wellbeing while improving the client's quality of life. This is achieved through the provision of engagement and individualised support plans, targeted interventions, signposting and group work. You will work proactively to form strong relationships and gain clients' trust, striving to provide the best possible service levels at all times.
Working as part of a team as well as independently, the successful candidate will have good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to motivate, engage and inspire including the initiative to be able to deal with challenging situations in a calm and effect manner.
