Job summary

Rock N Bowl Hostel in Bristol is seeking a proactive and energetic individual to join our friendly small team. This hands-on role is split between reception and housekeeping, with part-time, flexible shifts including weekends and evenings.

You will welcome guests, check them in, and keep our spaces clean, fresh, and social. The ideal candidate is a natural communicator, reliable, and enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Natural communicator who loves meeting travellers from all cultures.
• Willing to roll up sleeves for the physical side of the job (housekeeping).
• Reliable teammate who works well independently when required.
• Calm head who can think on their feet when the hostel gets busy.
• High reliability, punctuality, and great team spirit.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out using our booking system with a welcoming attitude.
• Handle daily housekeeping, including stripping and making beds and cleaning dorms.
• Keep reception and communal areas tidy and presentable.
• Maintain hostel safety and follow daily compliance checks.
• Share local tips on what Bristol has to offer: music, nightlife, art, food...
