Job summary

The Lanes Bristol is seeking a proactive individual to join our friendly hostel team in a hands-on reception and housekeeping role. You will greet guests, check them in, and keep dorms and communal areas clean, fresh, and social. This is a part-time position with flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings.

We value natural communicators who enjoy meeting travellers from all cultures, are reliable, punctual, and comfortable working both as part of a team and independently when needed.

Qualifications

• Comfortable with both reception duties and physical housekeeping tasks.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out with a welcoming attitude using our booking system.
• Handle daily housekeeping, including stripping and making beds and cleaning dorms.
• Keep reception and communal areas tidy and presentable.
• Maintain hostel safety and follow daily compliance checks.
• Share local tips on what Bristol has to offer.
