Job summary

Ruby Group is seeking a dedicated Night Attendant to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests in their hotels. This role involves acting as the first point of contact, preparing drinks, and ensuring seamless overnight operations.

The ideal candidate will have hospitality experience, be a night owl, and enjoy multitasking. The position offers a flexible 35-hour full-time schedule, with various employee benefits including profit-sharing and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ideally have some experience in the hotel industry; new entrants welcome.
• Preferably a night owl who enjoys working primarily at night in shifts.
• Reliable, able to multitask and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• act as the first point of contact for guests, making them feel at home from the very first moment to the last drink
• prepare cocktails, drinks and snacks smoothly and seamlessly
• care for the breakfast buffet preparation and set tables for the next morning
• hold down the fort overnight and look after the house and guests
• handle the end‑of‑day closing with care, ensuring everything runs smoothly and stays on track
• share insider tips with guests and point them to the best local hotspots

Qualifications

• ideally have some experience in the hotel industry (new entrants are welcomed)
• preferably a night owl who enjoys working primarily at night and in shifts while keeping everything under control
• reliable, able to multitask and eager to learn
• empathetic and enthusiastic about working with others
• possess a great sense of humour and enjoy collaborating in a team and interacting with guests
• fluent in English
