Description
As a rapidly growing business, we are hiring for a new and exciting venue concept in the heart of Spitalfields Market. As a Host, you'll be at the heart of providing exceptional hospitality, making sure our guests have an amazing time with top-notch service. You'll also spend your time on the floor engaging in conversation with our guests, taking drink orders, spreading great vibes, and creating unforgettable experiences. You'll work closely with our collaborative and people-centric management and supervisory team to keep everything running smoothly in both the front and back of the house areas. What you'll be doing
- Handling reservation administration on Design My Night as required.
- Assisting the management team in ensuring that customer flow in and out of the venue is as smooth as possible.
- Maintaining a strong knowledge of the food and beverage offering at the venue and making recommendations to guests based on their preferences.
- Providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring effective communication with Traders and colleagues.
- Collaborating with all teams within the venue to deliver fantastic events and service, including bar and floor teams, Traders and external stakeholders.
- Seating and assisting customers with various requests, queries, and complaints/issues, and escalating to a line manager when necessary.
- Taking direction from senior members of the team while also using your judgment to complete tasks effectively and maintain a calm and professional approach in a busy environment.
What you'll bring to KERB
- Previous experience of working in a customer facing role with a strong focus on guest / customer experience and service, Ideally in a high-volume environment but this isn’t essential!
- A passion for ‘Exceptional Hospitality’ and facilitating great guest experiences
- A willingness to rolling up your sleeves and pitch in from time to time on non-designated areas of the business - particularly on site
- Experience of working with Design my Night or other reservation systems desirable
