Description
As a Waiter at Seven Dials Market, you'll be at the heart of providing exceptional hospitality, making sure our guests have an amazing time with top-notch service. You'll also spend your time on the floor engaging in conversation with our guests, taking drink orders, spreading great vibes, and creating unforgettable experiences. You'll work closely with our supportive and people centric management and supervisory team to keep everything running smoothly in both the front and back of the house areas. What you'll be doing
- Maintaining an excellent understanding of the food and beverage offering at SDM and making recommendations to guests based on their preferences
- Providing exceptional hospitality and maintaining strong communication skills with Traders and colleagues
- Handling Reservation administration on Seven Rooms as required
- Supporting the Floor Manager in ensuring that customer flow in and out of the venue is as smooth as possible
- Working closely alongside all teams within the market to deliver fantastic events and service, including bar and floor teams, Traders and external stakeholders.
- Seat and assist customers with various requests, queries, complaints/issues and escalate to line manager when necessary
- Taking direction from senior members of the team, but also using your initiative to work independently and maintain a calm and professional approach in a busy environment
What you'll bring to KERB
- Previous experience of working in a customer facing role with a strong focus on guest / customer experience and service, Ideally in a high-volume environment but this isn’t essential!
- A passion for ‘Exceptional Hospitality’ and facilitating great guest experiences
- A willingness to rolling up your sleeves and pitch in from time to time on non-designated areas of the business - particularly on site
