Job summary

Granger & Co. is hiring a Host to be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming Granger welcome as you support front-of-house operations. You will help manage bookings for large events and oversee the queue, contributing to a smooth, high--energy service on busy shifts.

The ideal candidate has previous host or maître d' experience and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service, with a drive to step up and help the team succeed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a host, maître d' or equivalent
• Ability to stay organised on a busy shift
• Excellent customer service and a friendly manner

Responsibilities

• Support the operations of the restaurant on a day-to-day basis
• Assist with the door and front-of-house operations
• Be the first point of contact for customers with a warm Granger welcome
• Manage the booking system for large events when required
• Oversee the virtual queue and ensure every guest feels valued

A little about this role:

• A vital support to the operations of the restaurants
• Supporting the day to day running of the restaurant and most importantly, the door
