Job summary

Granger & Co.King's Cross in London is seeking a friendly Host to welcome guests, manage the door, and support restaurant operations. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring a sunny Granger welcome, guiding guests to tables, and assisting with the booking system during busy events.

The ideal candidate leads with hospitality, stays organised during peak shifts, and communicates clearly with team members.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a host, maître d'or equivalent.
• Able to stay organised on a busy shift.
• Passionate, approachable attitude with strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and manage the doors with a sunny Granger welcome.
• Assist with the day-to-day running of the restaurant and the booking system for large events.
• Support operations and queues, ensuring guests feel valued and cared for.
• Be the first contact guests interact with, guiding them to tables and seating.
• Manage the virtual queue and help coordinate seating during peak times.

• A vital support to the operations of the restaurants
• Supporting the day to day running of the restaurant and most importantly, the door
• Being the first person our customers interact with giving them that Granger welcome
• Where applicable, managing the booking systemespeciallywith large events
• Managing our virtual queue and making sure every customer feels special.
