Job summary

RB Holdings, the group behind 5 Hertford Street, is seeking a Host for a fixed-term maternity cover in our Upper Floor Restaurant team.

You will greet guests warmly, manage reservations, take orders, and help deliver exceptional service to members and guests throughout their visit. The role offers a generous holiday entitlement, private medical and dental cover, and staff benefits in a fast‑paced luxury setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment is advantageous.
• Organised and professional with excellent people skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a warm and professional welcome, creating an exceptional experience for members and guests from arrival through to departure.
• Manage restaurant reservations efficiently, maximizing covers and supporting revenue targets.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately while providing knowledgeable menu recommendations.

Our London portfolio includes 5 Hertford Street, Oswald's, and Birley Bakery and Chocolate Shop in Chelsea. In 2025, we expanded internationally with the opening of Maxime's, alongside a new Birley Bakery in New York City.

We are currently seeking a Host to join our Upper Floor Restaurant team at 5 Hertford Street.

Working Hours:

• Shifts are between Monday - Saturday
• Shift times vary on a rota basis and can fall between 11:00am and 1:00am.
• The club is closed on Sundays, Bank Holidays and throughout Christmas each year.
• This is a fixed term, maternity cover role

• Experience of working in a similar fast paced role in a luxury hotel, restaurant or private member's club advantageous
