Job summary

Loungers is hiring a full-time Assistant Manager for Torino Lounge to support the General Manager, lead a team and ensure guests leave happy. If you love hospitality and pride yourself on the small things, you'll fit right in.

This role offers a 48-hour contract (40-hour option), competitive base salary with bonus and overtime, paid overtime, staff meals, and development programmes, plus opportunities for progression through in-house training.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurants, bars, cafés or coffee shops as a Supervisor, Deputy or Assistant Manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts (opens/closes/weekends) with pre-shift briefings and delegation, keeping the team engaged.
• Coach the team with regular, honest feedback.
• Manage rotas, stock, labour and KPIs while supporting the General Manager when things aren’t as they should be.
• Handle escalated customer complaints with confidence and good judgement, and maintain allergen and food safety standards.
• Support recruitment and onboarding of new starters to help them succeed from day one.
• Be a visible, welcoming host on the floor and help build the Lounges reputation in the local community.
