Job summary

Aramark UK at RAF Boulmer is seeking a General Service Assistant Supervisor to lead a team and ensure top-notch hospitality service at the site. The role is permanent and full-time, with a 37.5-hour week across five days, occasional weekends, and salary of £13.44 per hour.

The successful candidate will manage service delivery, uphold hygiene standards, and support staff while promoting career development within a world-leading hospitality team.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required, but 1-2 years’ experience in a food services, retail, or cleaning environment desirable.
• Food hygiene certificate – Level 2 desirable. However, relevant training will be provided.
• Basic numeracy: ability to calculate and check change, basic addition, and subtraction.
• Must have lived in the UK for the past 3 years, have the legal right to work, and pass security vetting and DBS checks.
• A positive attitude, effective communication skills, and a passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service, including till operation, meal service setup, and stock replenishment.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety across all areas.
• Support and monitor staff performance, appearance, and completion of cleaning tasks.
• Report issues, feedback, hazards, and stock requirements to management and attend regular meetings.
• Complete training, stock checks, audits, and other duties to ensure smooth operations and compliance.
