Hospitality Supervisor - Whitehall London

40 Hours per week

£14.22 per hour

We're recruiting an experienced Hospitality Supervisor who is passionate about exceptional food and world-class customer service, and who can confidently oversee all Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations for one of our Government service sites on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Serving customers, ensuring they receive an easy and seamless personalised experience
2. Ensuring pre and post service checklists and cleaning schedules are completed before and after all food services
3. Ensuring the highest level of customer care is adhered to
4. Upholding uniform standards to the highest standard
5. Ensuring all displays, counters, and seating areas comply with company and statutory health and hygiene requirements, including Food Information Regulations and Reference Intake labelling
6. Supervising teams to deliver impeccable food and customer service
7. Communicating regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets
8. Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image
9. Liaising between customers and culinary and service teams to exceed expectations
10. Supporting and training teams, leading from the front to foster excellence
11. Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams

Our ideal Hospitality Supervisor will:

1. Have a customer-centred focus
2. Be IT literate
3. Maintain high standards of personal hygiene
4. Have previous supervisory experience
5. Be an excellent communicator, able to motivate and develop others
6. Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
7. Have experience managing teams in a similar role
8. Possess excellent communication and organisational skills
9. Be ambitious and motivated, always looking to upskill
10. Have a Contract Catering background (desirable)
11. Have event management experience
