A role focused on delivering exceptional customer service in a leading food retailer. As a partner, you will be responsible for assisting customers throughout their shopping experience, ensuring a friendly and efficient service. Previous experience in catering or hospitality is highly desirable, and flexibility in working hours is crucial.
Focusing on delighting our customers when they come into our shops means we need flexibility from all Partners, which might include early starts, late finishes, and weekend working. We give at least 2 weeks' notice to help you plan. We have various flexible working options, so feel free to discuss what flexibility means to you during your interview. Please note that flexibility cannot be guaranteed, but it may lead to a new role and a new way of working.
Providing excellent service for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and everything in between is your main responsibility. You'll use your relationship-building skills to make recommendations and prepare food. The way our customers perceive you will influence how they view Waitrose.
You should always empathize with our customers, think on your feet, and deliver a personal experience they love every visit. Your energy, pace, and passion for food should shine through every day.
This role involves working with open food. For hygiene reasons, successful applicants must be non-nail biters. You should be self-sufficient, energetic, and proactive. Prior catering or hospitality experience, skills, or qualifications should be included in your application.
