The Opportunity

What You'll Do:

  • Lead with Excellence: Take full management responsibility for our restaurants, bar, in-room dining, conference & banqueting, and special events.
  • Hands-On Leadership: Focus on leading your team to deliver exceptional guest hospitality experiences, managing the F&B budget, rotas, stock control, and sales.
  • Inspire & Develop: Provide direction to a team of passionate food & beverage experts, nurturing their skills and fostering their ongoing development.

Ideal Candidate

  • Passionate about all things hospitality & food
  • Proven track record of success working in a management role within a busy food and beverage operation
  • YOU will have a strong operational knowledge of food & beverage and have a strong commercial awareness in this sector.
  • YOU will have the capability to drive and motivate teams through periods of change, and a track record in recognising and developing future hospitality stars.
  • The ability to create a positive culture within the team.
  • Excellent level of numeracy and literacy skills
  • Strong organisation and planning skills
  • Experienced in managing budgets and driving revenue sales.

Just over 3 miles from the heart of the Manchester city centre, sits the Manchester South Hotel, part of the Sure Collection By Best Western. A short taxi journey from either Manchester Piccadilly or Oxford Road train stations. Really easy location to get to from the M56 and M60 motorways whether you’re travelling in from the east or the west

The hotel has 116 bedrooms, wedding suite holds up to 120 guests and three versatile meeting rooms for up to 80 delegates

Plus, a short drive from Manchester city centre including the MEN Arena and Manchester Central & 8 miles from Manchester International Airport.
