Job summary

Mowgli is seeking a Training & Engagement Manager to rollout coaching and development across our restaurant estate. You’ll partner with management teams to elevate leadership capability, champion our mission of unreasonable hospitality, and ensure every guest experience is nourishing and fulfilling.

You’ll lead onboarding and training frameworks, design quarterly initiatives, and drive engagement through surveys, recognition, and communications, while nurturing a strong, celebrated team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in training or L&D within multi-site hospitality.
• Ability to coach and develop managers at all levels.
• Commercial awareness and passion for people development and guest experiences.
• Creative, energetic delivery style with strong communication.
• Comfortable field-based role with UK-wide travel and occasional evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop General Managers and management teams to build leadership capability.
• Work in restaurants, supporting teams during service and upholding Mowgli standards and culture.
• Lead onboarding, training frameworks and management development.
• Design and deliver quarterly training initiatives, identify gaps and create solutions.
• Support engagement calendar, surveys, forums, newsletters and award submissions.
• Help develop career pathways and growth opportunities for staff.
• Champion unreasonable hospitality and Mowgli Magic.
