Job summary

The Marylebone, part of The Doyle Collection, is seeking a Receptionist to deliver warm, personalised service and ensure guests feel valued from arrival. You will be at the heart of the guest journey, handling check-ins/outs, and coordinating with departments to create memorable experiences in a fast-paced setting.

This role requires a passion for hospitality, superb communication, and the ability to maintain high standards across all guest interactions, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Front Office, Reception, or customer-facing role.
• A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• A positive, proactive, and solutions-focused approach.
• Confidence working in a busy environment while maintaining high standards.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.
• Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently while delivering a personalised experience.
• Respond to guest enquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate guest records and reservations.
• Handle payments, billing, and cashiering duties in line with hotel procedures.
• Work closely with Guest Experience, Housekeeping, Reservations, and other departments to ensure a seamless stay.
• Resolve guest concerns confidently and effectively, ensuring the best possible outcome.
• Promote hotel facilities and local experiences to enhance each guest's stay.
