Job summary

De Vere Cotswold Water Park is seeking a Duty Manager in Cirencester to lead on‑shift operations, ensuring safety, service standards and a seamless guest experience across departments. You will liaise with Reception, Concierge and Housekeeping, and act as lobby host to meet and greet guests from arrival onwards.

The role requires decisive leadership, strong communication, and the ability to resolve issues while maintaining De Vere’s reputation.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering outstanding service in hospitality.
• Excellent communication and guest-facing skills.
• Motivate and delegate to the team with a professional attitude.
• Comfort with IT software; Opera familiarity advantageous but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Act as operational leader on shift across departments to ensure smooth hotel operations.
• Coordinate with Reception, Concierge and Housekeeping to deliver seamless guest experiences.
• Serve as lobby host, greet guests, answer queries and make guests feel welcome.
