Job summary

De Vere Cotswold Water Park in Cirencester is seeking a Duty Manager to lead on-shift operations, ensure safety and consistent service, and safeguard the hotel's reputation. You will coordinate with Reception, Concierge and Housekeeping, acting as lobby host to welcome guests from arrival.

The role requires decisiveness, strong communication, and the ability to resolve issues while fostering guest satisfaction and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to greet guests warmly.
• Ability to motivate staff to deliver high standards and delegate effectively.
• Comfort with IT systems and software; Opera familiarity is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as the operational leader on shift across departments.
• Resolve escalated issues and protect hotel reputation and guest experience.
• Liaise with Reception, Concierge and Housekeeping to ensure seamless service.
• Greet guests in the lobby and respond to inquiries to enhance welcome.
