Job summary

Searcys is recruiting a Hospitality Assistant to support events at RICS in London. You will deliver service excellence to guests and clients at conferences, handling food, beverages and setup with a proactive, friendly attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality service for events is preferred.
• Able to work without supervision and take initiative.
• Excellent customer care skills.
• Experience serving at licensed bars is a plus.
• Good knowledge of food and beverages.

Responsibilities

• Set up clean furniture and ensure presentation for guests.
• Polish cutlery and glasses for events.
• Prepare hospitality food and beverage requests for meetings and spaces.
• Serve guests with a positive demeanor and high-quality service.
• Operate licensed bars and coffee machines as required.
• Assist with ordering and deliveries for events.
• Count and pack linen and equipment after events.
• Demonstrate strong product knowledge of food and beverages.

Searcys are looking for Hospitality Assistant to join the team atRICS.As a Hospitality Assistant, you will be responsible for providing service excellences to our customers, guests and clients on events, conferences.

The Hospitality assistant will be supporting and monitoring and serving all food and drinks to customers/clients/guest and clearing throughout the event.

Job Type: 0 hours contract

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that there is clean furniture, dining tables and chairs available for the guests and ensuring presentation is at the forefront of everything you do.
• Clean and polish all cutlery and glasses/crockery for the next event
• Prepare all hospitality food and beverage requests offered to customers/clients/guest in designated meeting spaces in a presentable manner.
• To be able to work without supervision and take initiative over duties and tasks without being directed.
• To serve our guests with a genuine and positive demeanour. All service should be efficient and of the highest quality.
• To work on licenced bars serving alcoholic beverages
• To be able to use coffee machines
• Assist with the ordering and deliveries as required
• Preparation of all hospitality requirements ensuring all items are available and if not reporting this to your line manager
• Ensuring that any linen hired, and equipment hired for an event is counted and packed away for collection after the event.
