Searcys is seeking a Hospitality Assistant to join the team at The British Academy starting in May/June. As a Hospitality Assistant, you will deliver excellent service to customers, guests, and clients during events, conferences, and weddings.

Job Description

The Hospitality Assistant supports the service of food and drinks, maintains cleanliness, and ensures high standards during events.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare and maintain clean furniture and presentation standards for guests.
2. Clean and polish cutlery, glasses, and crockery.
3. Set up dining and meeting spaces accurately.
4. Prepare food and beverages for guests in a presentable manner.
5. Work independently, taking initiative in duties.
6. Serve guests with a positive attitude, ensuring high-quality service.
7. Serve alcoholic beverages at licensed bars, including cocktails.
8. Operate coffee machines.
9. Assist with ordering and deliveries, reporting discrepancies.
10. Ensure all hospitality items are available, reporting shortages.
11. Manage linen and equipment for events, packing away after.

Qualifications

1. Good product knowledge of food and beverages.
2. Strong communication skills, especially with guests.
