Searcys is seeking a Hospitality Assistant to join the team at the National Army Museum.

As a Hospitality Assistant, your responsibilities include providing excellent service to guests and clients in our daytime Café and during events.

The National Army Museum showcases the Battle of Waterloo and military life, featuring fascinating artefacts in bright, contemporary spaces with views of Sir John Soane’s Grade II listed stables and the Royal Chelsea Hospital.

The role involves supporting, monitoring, and serving food and drinks to guests, clearing throughout events, and assisting in the Café.

Job Type: 0-hour contract

Operational 7 days a week

Responsibilities:

• Clean and polish cutlery, glasses, and crockery for upcoming events
• Prepare food and beverages for customers/clients/guests in designated spaces, ensuring presentation quality
• Work independently, taking initiative without supervision
• Serve guests with a genuine, positive attitude, ensuring high-quality, efficient service
• Serve alcoholic beverages on licensed bars
• Use coffee machines proficiently
• Assist with deliveries as needed
• Prepare and ensure availability of hospitality items, reporting shortages to your manager
• Count and pack away linen and equipment after events
• Maintain excellent product knowledge (food and beverages)
• Show initiative and be a team player
• Provide excellent customer care
