Job summary

Lovett Care Limited is seeking a kind, caring Hospitality Assistant to ensure residents and visitors receive a high standard of food service within Wilmslow Manor Care Home. The role involves maintaining a clean dining environment, serving meals, and supporting the Chef with individual resident requirements.

The position offers a 35-hour contract at an hourly rate of £12.71, with shifts from 08:00 to 19:00 and alternate weekend working.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or catering experience is desirable.
• Previous experience working in a care setting is desirable.
• Ability to effectively communicate with other members of the team.
• Prepared to participate in the activities organised in the Home.

Responsibilities

• Ensure there is a provision of high standard of hospitality service.
• Support and assist visitors.
• Inform the Chef of any individual requirements of residents.
• Following cleaning schedules and procedures, as per company HACCP.
• To ensure that all training given is adhered to.
• Ensure records and reports are properly written up.
• Take responsibility for promoting safeguarding the welfare of adults that the post holder is responsible for or comes into contact with.

Our stunning care home Wilmslow Manor Care Centre is a purpose-built care facility situated in the popular town of Wilmslow, Cheshire, 11 miles south of Manchester city centre. The home is registered to provide care to 66 residents who have a variety of care needs including residential, nursing and dementia residential. The home reflects the Lovett Care vision of providing the highest standards of safety, comfort and care. We invest in the latest technology and offer a purposeful programme of daily activity and gentle exercise to enhance the experience, care and wellbeing of our residents. All team members are hand selected for their warmth and passion; they have a full induction and ongoing training from our in-house trainers. Across Lovett Care all of our staff are paid the national minimum wage or above.

We are seeking to appoint a kind, caring and organised Hospitality Assistant to join our team. To ensure that residents and visitors to the Home receive an efficient food service, maintaining a clean working environment within the dining room and server at all times. We have a 35 hour contract available with an hourly rate of £12.71 Shift times are 0800-1900, with alternate weekend working.

Role Responsibilities:
