Job summary

Lovett Care Limited invites applications for a Hospitality Assistant at Guiseley Manor Care Home. You will provide warm, efficient food service in the dining room and servery, ensuring a clean working environment and resident satisfaction.

The role operates on a 35-hour contract with a £12.71 hourly rate, 0800–1900 shifts, and alternate weekend work. DBS check is required and training is provided to support safeguarding and quality care.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or catering experience is desirable.
• Previous experience working in a care setting is desirable.
• Ability to effectively communicate with other members of the team.
• Prepared to participate in the activities organised in the Home.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standard hospitality service to residents and visitors.
• Inform the Chef of any individual requirements of residents.
• Follow cleaning schedules and procedures, as per company HACCP.
• Ensure that all training given is adhered to.
• Ensure records and reports are properly written up.
• Take responsibility for promoting safeguarding the welfare of adults that the post holder is responsible for or comes into contact with.

Guiseley Manor Care Home is a purpose-built 72 care home facility situated in Guiseley, west Yorkshire, Leeds. The home provides the highest standards of safety, comfort and care to 72 residents who have a variety of care needs. We offer residential, nursing and dementia care.

The Role

We're seeking a kind, caring and organised Hospitality Assistant to join our team. You'll ensure that residents and visitors receive an efficient food service, maintaining a clean working environment within the dining room and servery at all times.

We have a 35 hour contract available with an hourly rate of £12.71! Shift times are 0800-1900, with alternate weekend working.
