Job summary

Lovett Care Limited is seeking kind and compassionate Care Assistants to join their team at Cheadle Manor. You will deliver quality care to residents in line with Care Plans, and contribute to the efficient running of the home.

We offer part-time and full-time contracts with shifts from 19:45 to 08:00, including alternate weekend working, and a welcoming induction. The role requires prior care experience or a willingness to obtain the Care Certificate within 12 months, with a focus on safety,

Qualifications

• Experience at Care Assistant level in a care environment.
• Care certificate or equivalent or willingness to achieve within 12 months.
• Evidence of good care practice relating to older people.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on care to residents in a person-centred way.
• Support residents to enjoy a good quality of life.

Cheadle Manor is a purpose-built care home facility in the popular location of Cheadle village, Stockport. The home is registered to provide care to 68 residents who have a variety of care needs including residential and nursing. The home meets all CQC requirements and provides the highest of safety, comfort and care to residents. The home reflects the Lovett Care vision of providing the highest standards of safety, comfort and care. We invest in the latest technology and offer a purposeful programme of daily activity and gentle exercise to enhance the experience, care and wellbeing of our residents. All team members are hand selected for their warmth and passion; they have a full induction and ongoing training from our in-house trainers. Across Lovett Care all of our staff are paid the national minimum wage or above.

We are seeking to appoint kind, caring and compassionate Care Assistants to join our team. You will deliver quality of care to residents in line with agreed Care Plans. You will contribute to the efficient and effective running of the Care Home. We have part time and full time contracts available with an hourly rate of £12.75! Shift times are 1945 - 0800 with alternate weekend working.

Role Responsibilities:

• To deliver “hands on” care to residents in aperson centredway.
• Support residents to enjoya good qualityof life.
• Model best practice when delivering care.
• Assistresidents in all aspects of their physical,emotionaland spiritual care needsin line with agreed care plans.
• Contribute to the daily records of residents.
• Contribute to effective teamwork and undertake tasks delegated to youefficientlyand effectively.
• Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults that the post holderis responsible fororcomes into contact with.

Skills and experience required:

• Experience at Care Assistant level in a care environment is preferable
• Care certificate of equivalent or a willingness to achieve this in the first 12 months of employment
• Evidence ofgood carepractice knowledge relating to the care of older people
• Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the 6 principles of care and how they underpin the delivery of care in a residential/Nursing setting.
• Demonstrate the ability to work in a team
• Demonstrate self-motivation and confidence
