Porter Supervisor at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust is based at Royal Albert Edward Infirmary. The role supervises day-to-day portering tasks, ensuring the smooth transfer of patients, goods and mail across the Trust’s sites.

You will cover shifts in a 24/7/365 pattern, manage rotas, timesheets, training records and PDRs, and support the Deputy Hotel Services Managers to maintain safe, cost-effective operations.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience is essential.
• Excellent numeracy and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, Health and Safety, and HR policies.

Responsabilités

• Supervise day-to-day running and organisation of portering duties.
• Complete rotas and monthly timesheets in the electronic system.
• Maintain training records and conduct return-to-work interviews.
• Assist Deputy Hotel Services Managers across duties for cost-effective portering operations.
• Participate in Personal Development Reviews (PDR) and staff development.
