Job summary

Porter at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is responsible for moving patients, goods and equipment between departments to ensure smooth hospital operations. You will take part in emergency response activities including responding to fire alarms and supporting security as required, and you will be part of a 24/7 service ensuring uninterrupted patient care across our sites.

• Move patients, goods and equipment between departments to where they are needed.
• Attend crash and trauma calls to support the crash team.
• Replenish medical gas supply and connect to the medical gases systems when required.
• Provide support to security staff as needed.
