Job summary

Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a Porter/Domestic role at Riverside Centre Prestwich Mental Health Hospital. The post is 25 hours per week on a rota basis, including early and late shifts, and involves supporting a clean, safe and efficient hospital environment.

No previous experience is required; full training will be provided. The Trust values reliable and motivated individuals to assist with equipment movement, waste handling, and supporting both

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; full training will be provided.
• Ability to work on a rota including early and late shifts.
• Desire to work in a hospital environment.
• Awareness of national cleaning standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the movement of equipment, supplies and waste to assist clinical and non-clinical teams.
• Contribute to a clean, safe and hygienic hospital environment in line with standards.
• Assist with maintaining an organised workplace and patient care environment.
