Job summary

Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a dedicated Domestic Services team member for the Riverside Centre in Prestwich as a 25 hour post. You will perform cleaning duties, maintain infection control standards and support patients and staff in a hospital environment.

Full training provided; prior housekeeping experience is desirable. Join a busy hospital setting with opportunities to contribute to a clean and safe environment while developing skills through NHS

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and patient-centred approach.
• Willingness to learn and follow training provided.
• Ability to work in a team or independently in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties in patient areas, staff rooms, offices and communal spaces.
• Ensure surfaces, floors and facilities are cleaned and disinfected regularly.
• Handle waste disposal following infection control protocols.
• Replenish soap, towels and toilet tissue as required.
• Report maintenance issues or hazards promptly.
