EMED Group is recruiting a Patient Transport Liaison Officer (PTLO) for Cambridge University Hospital. The role bridges hospitals and our operations team, coordinating through central hubs and participating in bed and site meetings to manage demand.

You will act as escalation point for designated Trusts during bed crises and patient queries, supporting patient flows in a busy hospital environment. The position is full-time (37.5 hours per week) with shifts 08:00–16:00 and 12:00–20:00, Monday to

Qualifikationen

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Experience in a healthcare/hospital setting.
• Ability to perform manual handling.
• Knowledge of Non-Emergency Patient Transport services.

Aufgaben

• On-site presence to support patient flow and liaison with Trusts.
• Attend meetings on an ad-hoc basis.
• Maintain positive relationships with wards, discharge lounges and bed managers.
• Forecast activity with planning/control to anticipate peaks and troughs.
• Assist operational managers with day-to-day issues and patient inquiries.
