Job summary

Weston Park Cancer Charity is seeking a Hospital Partnerships Fundraising Officer to strengthen links with Weston Park Hospital, regional NHS sites and staff. You will develop relationships with patients, families and volunteers to raise awareness and generate income for cancer services.

The role requires a proactive approach, excellent communication, and the ability to work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
• Ability to prioritise and manage workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative, engaging with staff, volunteers and donors.
• Willingness to work evenings and occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with hospital staff, patients and volunteers to raise awareness and support.
• Develop fundraising opportunities across hospital sites and departments.
• Coordinate participation in charity campaigns, events and appeals.
• Promote regular giving and manage donor engagement through CRM systems.
• Recruit and support fundraising champions, staff fundraisers and volunteers.
• Represent the charity across the hospital and ensure brand consistency.
• Plan and promote hospital-based fundraising events with cross-team support.
• Provide excellent supporter care and timely stewardship.
• Monitor activity and gather stories to demonstrate impact.
