Job summary

North West Air Ambulance Charity seeks a Philanthropy & Partnerships Officer to build meaningful corporate relationships and turn conversations into long-term support. You will manage existing partners, identify new opportunities, and drive sustainable income across the northern region.

The role requires strong written and verbal communication, relationship-building skills, and the ability to work toward financial targets within a hybrid working model.

Qualifications

• Experience in building and managing donor, client or corporate relationships.
• Understanding of relationship-led fundraising and sustainable income generation.
• Confident communicator who enjoys meeting new people and building connections.
• Ability to write compelling communications for diverse audiences.
• Comfortable working toward financial targets and managing a busy workload.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive, creative, and able to spot opportunities.
• Team player who can also use initiative.

Responsibilities

• Grow sustainable income through corporate partnerships with a focus on northern areas.
• Manage and develop a portfolio of existing corporate partners; identify and nurture new opportunities.
• Attend events, develop proposals, and demonstrate impact of partner support.
• Communicate funding needs clearly and develop compelling applications and communications.
• Be an enthusiastic ambassador for NWAA and inspire organisations and individuals to support our work.
