Job summary

Weston Park Cancer Charity is seeking a Regional Fundraising Officer to grow community fundraising and events across South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire and North Nottinghamshire. You will initiate, develop and expand fundraising opportunities, building strong donor relationships and working with the wider fundraising and marketing teams to deliver campaigns regionally.

This role requires a proactive, out-and-about approach, with some evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills to engage diverse donors.
• Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel across South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire and North Nottinghamshire.
• Proactive in fundraising and donor stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with supporters across the regional area.
• Plan and implement fundraising campaigns and events.
• Travel across the region to meet community groups and schools.
• Collaborate with fundraising, volunteer and marketing teams.
• Ensure donors are thanked promptly and records updated in CRM.
• Represent the charity at cheque presentations and talks.
