Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Mechanical Technician to join the Estates Department at the Basingstoke Hospital site. The role involves carrying out planned and reactive mechanical works to maintain hospital facilities, with training provided where needed and opportunities for progression.

The ideal applicant should have a background in maintenance, building services or healthcare environments, possess a full driving license for call outs, and be able to work independently

Formación

• Sound mechanical understanding suitable for building services or healthcare environments.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out planned and reactive mechanical works on building and hospital facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for staff and visitors.
• Repair, maintenance and improvement to the building and hospital facilities, including plant rooms and ward areas.
• Assist with other building-related tasks and mechanical/electrical building services as required.
• Be able to travel and work across the Trust sites; hold a current valid full driving license for call-outs; undertake manual handling.
• Support the Estates Department in delivering reliable services to patients and staff.
