Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a qualified maintenance tradesperson with a mechanical bias to join the Estate Maintenance Service across our facilities. You will contribute to a comprehensive maintenance, repair and installation service for buildings, grounds and engineering services, with on-call duty and overtime opportunities.

A UK driving licence is essential, and you will have completed a recognised electrical/mechanical or building services

Qualifications

• Completed a recognised electrical / mechanical or building services apprenticeship.
• Experience in building engineering services and plant maintenance.
• Current UK manual driving licence is essential.

Responsabilités

• Undertake essential diagnostic fault-finding investigations leading to repair works, using analytical cause and effect techniques.
• Act as Competent Person (CP) for LV/HV Electrical Systems and Lifts, and provide technical advice to Estate Maintenance staff and contractors.
• Liaise and collaborate with external contractors and consultancies often requiring independent thinking and decision making within the role.
• Work on a shift pattern with participation in an emergency on-call rota with opportunities for overtime.
