Stockport NHS Foundation Trust’s Estates team at Stepping Hill Hospital invites applications for a Maintenance Technician (Multi-skilled: Mechanical & Plumbing Bias) Band 5. The role covers hospital-wide mechanical and plumbing maintenance, with rostered overtime and on-call duties.

You will hold an Apprenticeship and NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing Studies or equivalent, and work as part of a multi-trade team to support patient services across Stepping Hill and other sites within the Trust.

Competenze

• Recognised Apprenticeship.
• NVQ Level 3 or higher in Plumbing Studies or equivalent experience.
• Good Education Standard.
• Desirable: HNC/ONC in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.

Mansioni

• Carry out plumbing and mechanical maintenance within a hospital environment.
• Work overtime both rostered and ad-hoc, including on-call as required.
• Be part of a multi-trade team delivering a quality service to support patient services.
